I've spent 17+ years working at the intersection of design and engineering — building products, teams, and technical strategy for startups, Fortune 500 companies, and federal agencies. I'm a designer who codes and an engineer who designs.

My career started at Intel, where I moved from technical validation (processor and systems validation, Intel Software Quality Award, prototyping for Health and Life Sciences, UX evangelism) through Intel Labs R&D — adaptive interfaces, robotics, VR, industrial design, 11 US Patents — to leading UX and design efforts for Intel's IoT/Edge AI DevCloud platform. From there: UX strategy and frontend at Instrument for YouTube, Samsung, Salesforce, Dropbox, and Michelin; founding UX architect at NXT Humans; and most recently CTO at LiFT Learning.

My creative practice spans electronic music, interactive installation, and sound sculpture — work that examines how designed interfaces reshape human connection. I've performed and exhibited at the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, Portland Art Museum, Oregon Contemporary, and Bumbershoot.

I've taught at PNCA's Make+Think+Code Lab and Portland State University, and mentor emerging designers through PNCA and AIGA.
