I'd been trying to reach her for months on end, she didn't respond. It was unlike her to not respond, but also not unlike her. I kept trying though - even asked our mutual friend for her new number, and she still wouldn't respond.
She had already passed away...
This was a film we made together in graduate school around 2014. l'd lost the original film and had been searching desperately for years - digging through thousands of files to find the footage - and it finally appeared about a month ago. So I remade the film from what I could remember.
It's a silly little thing, but it's all that's left.
