What an awesome event to be a part of.

This is the first time in a long time I’ve had the chance to show a new piece of digital work in the thread of commentaries I’ve been working on the past few years.

To be a part of so many artists representing the Northwest and elsewhere, of non-dominant cultures, of South Africa (my home)… I am honored once again.

IRRELEVANT, 2023. Reese Bowes

A real-time generative artwork that takes images of autocrats and supposed dictators, pseudo-philosophers, evangelical and fundamentalist pastors… and dissolves them and their perceived and malformed powers.

The intent?

To bestow a punishment for those individuals who will never see it.
