Consilience
In 2016 I was asked by PDX Contemporary Art in Portland, Oregon to participate in their PDX Window Project. I was given the opportunity to present work as a non-represented artist for one month during the summer. 'Consilience' is a piece that explores our relationships to interfaces that constantly require our attention with diminishing returns, our struggle with shifting perception through digital media, and our behaviors are modified as a result of their prolonged use.
The final installation was built using Processing 3, Arduino Uno, and a pair of Sony infrared distance sensors.
