Realtime Patient Monitoring Application
In 2014, while on an internship with Intel's Health and Life Sciences Group, I designed a telemedicine app for patient monitoring. The statement of work defined an app that would allow for a patient to both communicate with a primary healthcare provider, and also to track various biometrics with connected devices and share that data with their provider as well.
The app was conceived six years prior to the global Covid-19 pandemic, before any kind of patient/provider real-time telepresence existed, and before HIPAA restrictions were eased to allow for sharing of patient data digitally.
The following are the initial and approved designs for the RPM app.
